Gabriele Bochicchio is the Irrigation Manager at Rombola Family Farms’ New South Wales Riverina operation, located in Tabbita.

This operation lies within the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA), which consists of low-lying flood plains, warm to hot climate and an ample supply of water through irrigation that is diverted from the Murrumbidgee river.

Regarded as Australia’s food bowl; the region is one of the most productive agricultural locations nationwide.

Gabriele has been working as an irrigation manager and agricultural technician for several years. His role consists of a variety of tasks, including liaising with his fellow co-workers, growers and farm management to plan and implement short-term and long-term plans, maintenance, preventative maintenance, and more.
