The purpose of this report is two-fold; 1. to extract science supported information that can be used by industry and form the basis of an extension program (Part A), 2. and at the same time identify gaps in our knowledge and suggest possible areas of further research which can then be considered as part of the Industry Research Advisory process (Part B). This has been a somewhat ambitious project and represents for the first time a synthesis of HAL funded potato R&D in agronomy/soil health and also provides a reference point for further work which can be used as a resource when assessing new research projects/programs
