With growers facing significant cost of production pressures for vital farm inputs, including fertiliser, chemicals, fuel and wages, it is critical that AUSVEG is able to advocate for growers to receive a fair price so that they can continue to supply fresh produce to local and international consumers, and remain financially viable for the future.

To do this, AUSVEG is calling on growers to complete this Cost of Production Survey to help capture data from growers on the extent of the pressures and challenges they are facing within their farm businesses.

These survey results will be used by AUSVEG to highlight the pressures growers are facing to politicians, consumers, buyers, government departments and regulators to ensure growers are receiving a fair return.

Without this data, the industry risks being left to continue to bear the burden of increased costs of production, which will hurt the industry for years to come.

All survey responses are strictly confidential and only aggregate and anonymised data will be used.
